Elastane, also sold as spandex or Lycra, is a synthetic polymer. A few percent is what makes stretch denim stretch, and it lowers a garment's score because it is plastic sitting against skin. It is a trade-off, not a disqualifier, which is why Toxome shows the percentage instead of hiding it.

Linen, by a wide margin. It is the most breathable common apparel fiber and it dries fast, which is why it has been worn in hot climates for thousands of years. Hemp behaves similarly and softens with wear.
